Description

Delicious and refreshing Chocolate Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Bites featuring fresh strawberries mixed with creamy Greek yogurt, dipped in rich dark chocolate for a perfect healthy treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Frozen Yogurt Bites

  • 2 cups fresh diced strawberries
  • 1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt

Chocolate Coating

  • 12 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside for assembling the bites.
  2. Mix Yogurt and Strawberries: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries with the strawberry Greek yogurt to create a creamy, fruity mixture.
  3. Form Bites: Drop the yogurt mixture into small 2-inch size bites or clusters onto the lined baking sheet, spacing them out evenly to yield about 8 bites.
  4. Freeze Bites: Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and freeze the yogurt bites until solid, about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt Chocolate: Place the chocolate chips and optional coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until melted and smooth. Let cool at room temperature for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Dip Bites: Remove the frozen yogurt bites from the freezer, then use a fork to dip each bite completely into the melted chocolate. Place them back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Add Sea Salt: Sprinkle sea salt on top of each dipped bite if desired.
  8. Set Chocolate: Allow the chocolate coating to harden for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy immediately or store properly.

Notes

  • Use fresh fruit for the best flavor and texture.
  • An ice cream scoop helps create uniform bite-sized portions easily.
  • Ensure the yogurt bites are fully frozen solid before dipping to prevent melting.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 4 days or freeze them properly in freezer-safe containers with parchment paper between layers for up to one month.
