Description

A refreshing and soothing Banana Chamomile Tea Smoothie that combines the calming flavor of chamomile tea with the natural sweetness of ripe banana and honey, blended into a creamy, smooth drink perfect for relaxation or a light snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed chamomile tea, cooled
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup milk or your preferred milk alternative
  • ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)
  • dried chamomile leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew Chamomile Tea: Brew a cup of chamomile tea using a tea bag or loose chamomile flowers. Let it steep for 5 minutes, then set aside to cool completely.
  2. Prepare Ingredients: Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks. Measure out 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/2 cup of milk or milk alternative.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add the cooled chamomile tea, banana chunks, honey, and milk. Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a colder smoothie.
  4. Blend Smoothie: Blend the mixture on high speed until it’s smooth and creamy. Check the texture and add more milk if a thinner consistency is desired.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Pour the smoothie into a glass or jar. Optionally, garnish with dried chamomile leaves for a delicate and aromatic touch.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness and creaminess.
  • For a vegan option, use almond, soy, or oat milk instead of dairy milk.
  • If you prefer less sweetness, reduce the honey or omit it entirely.
  • Adding ice cubes makes the smoothie chilled and refreshing, ideal for warm days.
  • Dried chamomile leaves add an elegant garnish but can be omitted without affecting flavor.
